The Burke Center for Japanese Art is located within Schermerhorn Hall on Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus. The 3,700 square foot center includes gallery space, seminar rooms, a 60-person lecture hall, and faculty offices for the Department of Art History & Archaeology. PCE was tasked with designing all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, and life safety systems for the renovation.
