NYU – Wunsch Building

New York, New York [Matiz Architecture & Design] Education: K-12 Historic

The Wunsch Building currently serves as NYU’s admissions offices for the Tandon School of Engineering and is located in Downtown Brooklyn. The building was formerly the Bridge Street Methodist Church, the first independent black church in Brooklyn. This historic church was also a stop along the Underground Railroad, leading to its designation as a historic landmark in 1981. PCE was responsible for designing all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, and life safety systems for the restoration.
